What is ZivaCare API?
ZivaCare API is a platform for human health data that allows developers to easily create applications that retrieve data from a variety of data sources and enable users to share that data with applications of their choice. This data can be anything from activity data recorded by a pedometer, a blood pressure measurement (captured by an individual), or even a medical record from a hospital.
ZivaCare API takes care of the data synchronizations with any third party data source, handles user management to manage all user identities across all integrated devices and services, and processes and normalizes all of their data for your application over a secure REST based API.
The ZivaCare API platform is made up of four core components:
– A fast growing list of data sources to retrieve data from
– ZivaCare Connect, a single sign-on to authenticate users’ health data from all of these sources
– The Data API, a unified, normalized API to manage users’ health data
– A developer portal to easily manage all users, data and connections

Ecosystem of clinical and wellness data sources
ZivaCare API partners and works with a wide variety of data sources, from electronic medical records which provide data about medications and blood tests, to activity trackers, to blood glucose monitors, to apps, and more. This ecosystem of data sources provides the building blocks of data on which ZivaCare API developers can build their applications.
Single sign-on
ZivaCare API provides a simple way for you to authenticate your users’ health data from anywhere within our ecosystem of data sources. When you integrate our authentication process into your web or mobile application your users will be prompted with a popup to grant your application access to their health data. The process of integrating this is straightforward and fast, and by unifying identities across all systems we make it simple for your application to keep all data together and get it from one place.
A normalized API
ZivaCare API pulls in, cleans up, structures and normalizes all of these health data and provides a unified API for your backend to query. We give you a single access token for a user’s records which you can use like a key to query whatever data they have provided you with. Developer and data management portal
ZivaCare API provides a portal which is the hub of your ZivaCare API experience. In this portal you will be able to set up and configure your applications and backend, select which data sources you want to retrieve data from, invite team members to collaborate on your app, create and authenticate users, and manage their respective access tokens and data.
